Well, despite lockdown musical things are happening.
My song Urban Fox won The Green Ginger Channel most popular new folk song. As if that was not enough excitement for one year!
The Song writers Guild ran a competiton for its members to write a song on the theme of Hope. I managed to come joint first with
Bob Bentley and his song Keep The Faith.
Song of Hope also got to the finals of the International Song Contest. Sadly it was not the winner but out of ten thousand plus entries it got to the final which is quite an accolade.
I am now the voice of Priscilla Bulley at Brixham Museum. Priscilla was one of the fish-hawkers who had a run in with a local fish supplier. Due to her causing a breach of the peace she has to spend the night in the police cell. here she bemoans her fate & I fear drink may have been taken !(typecast again ha ha )
Seriously it was an honour to be asked to do this voice over. Having been born and raised in Brixham I was asked to present in the old style Brixham accent, which is of course how most people spoke here in the town when I was a child.
